The Corner Stone – Lahinch, Ireland

This Corner Stone Bar & Restaurant is located in the seaside Village of Lahinch, County Claire, Ireland.  It’s name is appropriate given the beautiful field stone appearance of the outside of the building.  Lahinch is a great little town and the surfing capitol of Ireland- with a championship golf course and many nice pubs.  Upon entering is warm and inviting and the staff was simply lovely and happy.  Here is a copy of their menu The Corner Stone Facebook Page

I ordered the Chicken Supreme, not quite sure exactly knowing what I was going to get- but it came highly recommended by our waiter. It was truly SUPREME! The chicken literally melted off the bone and the gravy was amazing! As a bonus, it came with two types of potatoes, mashed and boiled and a fresh serving of broccoli. My husband ordered the seafood chowder- and was not disappointed.  Loaded with fresh local seafood including mackerel & mussels, and he liked it so much he contemplated ordering a second bowl.  I highly recommend this little gem!  If I lived near this place, this would be a regular spot for my husband and I.
